By being a teacher for Speakify24 UG (limited), I herby agree to the following terms and conditions:

Behavioral Guidelines:

·         Professional conduct,

·         Being on time,

·         Prepare the classes properly

·         Being friendly

·         Being culturally sensitive

·         Don´t discuss controversial political, cultural or religious issues

·         Wearing proper clothes

Teacher Requirements:

·         Freelancer- the teacher is responsible for informing his or her local financial institution

·         Have at least one more client

·         University degree or currently matriculated

·         Experience as a teacher

·         Have good Internet connection

·         Suitable webcam and microphone

·         Native speaker

·         Be available for at least 10 hours per week

Teacher Registration

·         Provide current CV

·         Create your teacher´s dashboard, including the following information:

o   Age

o   Native language

o   Short description in English (min 50, max 150 words)

o   Profile Picture

o   Inform us about your local tax number

o   Current residency

o   Account number

Payment methods

·         Inform us of your preferred payment method. The following methods are accepted :

o   Paypal

o   Bank transfer

Lesson´s policy

·         The calendar is seen as a required working schedule

·         Confirmed bookings cannot be canceled. Exceptions are only accepted in exceptional cases, requested a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the lesson. In this case the teacher needs to inform the student personally and offer an alternative date.

·         After every lesson, the teacher is required to provide feedback to the students and if requested, homework should be provided

·         After every lesson the teacher (if not scheduled) should ask for the next date.

·         Wait for the student; if he/she does not appear, contact the student through the internal messenger. Be available throughout the entire lesson.

·         Follow didactic guidelines by Speakify24

·         Use the provided material (if given), if not, use your own material

·         All payments are done through Speakify24

Prohibition and violation

·         If the lesson cannot take place and is not being canceled by the teacher

·         If a conflict arises with the student and cannot be solved

·         If the feedback is negative

·         If you break any speakify rules

·         If you attempt to entice student to join a personal enterprise

·         If you speak negatively about Speakify24 to third parties

·         If you fail to maintain your calendar

·         If you provide fake or false information

·         If you behave inappropriately

Speakify24 reserves the right to take the following action:

·         Delete the teacher´s account

·         Freeze your teacher´s account

·         Adjust or freeze your balance account

In case of enticing away a student, we will put forward a claim for damages. In order to control this possible violation, we might use ghost costumers.

·         Teachers, who have worked for more than 100 hours for Speakify24, can be provided with a Speakify24 teacher´s certificate.
